The Warrandyte Display Pool Centre
Oldest Pool Display Centre in Australia
Showcasing six pool displays, the Warrandyte Display Centre is the oldest pool display centre across Melbourne and Australia. A true testament to the strength and durability of the Albatross system, the very first Albatross pool built back in 1969 stands pride of place, surrounded by three similar aged pools including an octagonal, kidney and rectangular pool design.
Set over multiple levels, each pool design at this pool display centre is enclosed by expansive lush developed gardens, similar to that of an established suburban backyard. The pool designs allow visitors to gain a sense of pool size and depth, with the longest pool spanning 10m and the deepest pool reaching depths in excess of 3.0m.
The Warrandyte Swimming Pool Display Centre is a MPBAA & SPASA AUSTRALIA National Award Winning Display Centre - awarded GOLD in 2016.
Located just 8km from the Springvale Road off ramp of the Eastern Freeway, the Warrandyte Pool Display Centre is open seven days a week year round and is a must for when starting any indoor or outdoor pool project.

Display Pools
Octagonal Pool Design
The very first Albatross pool to be built, the octagonal pool design is the first pool to be seen as you enter the pool display centre, spanning 9m in diameter and bordered by palms, aged timber sleepers and rockery.
Pool Size: 9.0m | Pool Depth: 1.5m | Pool Colour: Whitsundays
Small Rectangle Pool Design
The small rectangle pool design features the premium mosaic pool interior and is surrounded by rich patterned terracotta tiles. This pool is often mistaken as a fully tiled concrete pool. Although it is one of the smallest pools showcased at the Warrandyte display centre, the small rectangle pool design is a common pool size for most suburban family backyards.
Pool Size: 7.2m x 3.6m | Pool Depth: 1.2m | Pool Colour: Caribbean
Kidney Pool Design
Partly elevated above natural ground level, the large expansive kidney pool design features the Antique pool interior creating a natural lagoon-like appearance on a sunny day. Although the display pool is the one depth and features a simple bench in the shallows, the Albatross system has evolved since 1969 and many clients now choose to incorporate multiple comfort seats and vary the pool depths to suit their lifestyle and pool design requirements.
Pool Size: 9.8m x 4.8m | Pool Depth: 1.2m | Pool Colour: Kiama
Large Rectangle Pool Design
Located at the lowest point in the pool display centre, the large rectangle pool design was once a traditional 1970s pool complete with a diving board. The large rectangle pool was also home to the local Warrandyte scuba diving school in the 80s as the extreme depths of this pool design were very appealing. Although curved corners feature, many clients now opt for clean right-angle corners in their pool design, the rectangle pool allows visitors to gain a true sense of the proportions a large sized pool.
Pool Size: 10m x 5m | Pool Depth: 1.2m to 3.0m | Pool Colour: Costa Rica
Small Plunge Pool Design
What was once an unused sloped area of the pool display centre, The Classique Courtyard Series pool stands pride of place. Encased in bluestone, the small pool is partially elevated above natural ground level ranging from 0.3m to 0.6m at the highest point. To create the illusion of a small backyard space, the pool area is bordered by a crazy-paved bluestone wall featuring a cascading water feature, a mustard cladded wall and a bright mauve rendered bench seat.
Pool Size: The Classique Courtyard Series Pool - 5.0m x 2.5m | Pool Depth: 1.1m to 1.6m | Pool Colour: Maldive
Latest Addition - "The Banana" Pool Design
Wrapping around the neighbouring kidney display pool, the latest addition is yet to be finished with the pool structure currently on show and landscaping yet to be completed.
