Rectangle Pool and Spa Design

Positioned at the highest point on the family property in Nunawading, this rectangle pool design features an integrated spa set alongside an oversized wading area in the shallows. The perfect combination for young children to splash and play while gaining confidence in the water.

Spanning 9.0m in length and 4.5m in width, the year-round heated swimming pool comes complete with a fresh water Ionic pool sanitisation system, a variable speed pump and an auto water leveller (a must have when a pool is set at the highest point on a property with the heavy rain now experienced in Melbourne).

Overlooked by the enticing poolside pavilion, this swimming pool zone features a colour combination which contradicts the standard colour rules! Instead of creating a contrast between the pool colour and the surround paving, the owners opted for a ‘same-same’ approach. The natural grey granite pool tile and the grey (almost black) Antique Pool Interior cleverly creates a more seamless transition from pool to pool surrounds resulting in the illusion of a larger space.

Although planned with a young family in mind, this swimming pool design would also be ideal for anyone in search of a low maintenance entertainers delight! The wading area could double as an ‘in-pool-sun-lounge’ and the fully tilled spa could be ‘the-place-to-be’ on a winters evening subtly illuminated with multi-coloured led lighting and steam rising from the water.
